Manual QA Engineer
Rep is the first AI-powered Concierge (sales chatbot) for eCommerce. It proactively approaches disengaged site visitors and offers shopping assistance for everyone. As a result, Rep sells more stuff and handles up to 90% of all support requests.
We are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer with 2 years of experience to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our AI-powered Concierge platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing manual test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of our platform.
You will:
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual test cases, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies to provide input on testing efforts and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Work closely with the QA team and software developers to understand the requirements and develop test strategies.
- Continuously improve our testing processes by identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance to enhance our testing capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, etc.) and experience in testing web applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate findings effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- Candidates with exposure to AWS services, Jenkins, MongoDB, and Shopify are preferred.
