What is the Rep Funnel?

The Rep Funnel is a unique conversion funnel within the Rep AI app that tracks and analyzes key customer engagement metrics to optimize sales opportunities. Specifically designed for the eCommerce conversion path, the Rep Funnel focuses on guiding shoppers through a conversation-driven journey.

The Rep funnel converts interest into action through real-time interactions and proactive engagement. Using behavioral analytics the Rep AI chat can detect disengaged customers to intuitively approach and assist them, eventually converting them into customers.

How the Rep Funnel Works

Rep AI uses conversational AI and behavioral analytics to approach disengaged shoppers and encourage them to re-engage with the site. The Rep Funnel tracks the journey from when a shopper first lands on the website to the final conversion point. This approach enables businesses to understand the impact of AI-driven conversations on shopper behavior.

Here’s a breakdown of each stage in the Rep Funnel:

Shoppers visited the website

This metric represents the total number of shoppers who viewed the e-commerce website. It serves as the starting point of the funnel, giving a baseline for visitor traffic. In the example image above, there are 14 sessions, which translates to 100% of the funnel’s initial input.

Disengaged shoppers approached

This segment represents the shoppers who are approached by the AI with a re-engagement message. Rep uses its behavioral analytics to determine which disengaged users should be guided in the sales funnel. It then identifies the best time to approach the user based on their shopping flow. In our example, six sessions, or 42.86%, included proactive engagement from Rep AI. 

Conversations started with disengaged shoppers

This metric reflects the success of Rep AI in initiating conversations with disengaged shoppers. In our example, five of the six disengaged sessions resulted in a conversation, an 83.33% success rate for initial engagement. The higher this percentage, the better the AI agent is at connecting with disengaged users.

Conversations that viewed products

Once a conversation is underway, Rep AI can guide shoppers to explore relevant products based on their interests. This segment includes shoppers who viewed products while conversing with the Rep AI chat. The metric indicates how effective Rep AI is at promoting product discovery within chats Here, 20% of the conversations resulted in product views,

Conversations added to cart

This segment includes shoppers who add items to their shopping cart via the Rep AI chat window. It reflects the AI’s ability to not only recommend products but also encourage shoppers to take action. In this example, one conversation out of five (20%) led to an add-to-cart action.

Conversations converted

The final stage of the Rep Funnel, this metric measures how many conversations ended with a purchase. In our example, one conversation (20%) successfully led to a purchase.
